My name is Amy, and I’m grateful you are here. My approach to therapy is rooted in warmth and compassion, creating a non-judgmental space for you to embrace your authentic self. Together, we can explore the darkness that may dim your light, and I’ll walk alongside you on your journey of self-understanding, growth, and healing.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Approach: I’m trained in a range of approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT Levels 1 & 2), the Gottman Method (Levels 1 & 2) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Alongside talk therapy, I am also a certified music therapist (MTA). Creative modalities, such as music, can offer a powerful and meaningful way to explore emotions—especially when words feel out of reach. While these approaches and modalities help guide my work, I enter each therapeutic relationship with the understanding that each person’s journey is unique. My aim is to build a collaborative, compassionate space where your voice leads the way.
As relational beings, we heal and grow best in safe, supportive connection—and choosing the right therapist for your journey is an important part of that. I bring a holistic lens to therapy, honouring the interconnectedness between emotional, physical, social, psychological, and spiritual well-being. I also draw from a systems approach, gently exploring how our relationships and communities shape us—and how we, in turn, shape them.
Areas of Focus:

I value the opportunity to lean into the heavy and uncomfortable parts of life, and I believe that even in life’s hardest moments, there is potential for meaning, connection, and growth.
Together, we can navigate the challenges you are facing, draw on your inner strengths, and work toward building a life that reflects your values and aspirations. It would be an honour to support you on your journey.
Education: I hold a Master’s degree in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Martin Luther University College and a Bachelor of Music Therapy degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
